K.A. Statz
Writer/Creator

Kaitlin Statz began writing audio dramas in 2015 while completing HER Master’s at the University of Oxford. Within the year, her first stories hit headphones as Liberty and By 2017, with several audio seasons completed, she launched The White Vault and founded Fool & Scholar Productions. Now, with even more shows, she works full time creating audio stories. Statz lives with her husband and their rescue dog, Eezo.

Travis Vengroff
Producer/Sound Designer

Travis Vengroff is the FANTASTIC COMBO sound designer, editor, and producer who started his work in audio as a musician. He is the Co-Founder of FOOL & SCHOLAR PRODUCTIONS. Vengroff is also an educator, consultant, and active member in numerous podcast communities and organizations. He works full time creating podcasts and lives with his wife and their rescue dog, Eezo.

Adjoa Andoh
Dr. Gwen Kingston

Andoh can currently be seen playing Lady Danbury in Shondaland / Netflix’s Bridgerton (for which she won 2021 Black Reels Outstanding Supporting Actress (Drama) and was nominated for a 2021 NAACP Award for best supporting actress), as well as Nenneke in series two of The Witcher, also for Netflix. She will soon start filming on Shondaland / Netflix’s new limited series Queen Charlotte, a spin-off of Bridgerton (and testament to its popularity). Acting film & TV credits include Fractured (Netflix), Brighton (CK Films), Invictus (dir: Clint Eastwood), Silent Witness (BBC), Acceptable Risk(RTE), Adulthood and Brotherhood (Cipher Films), Cucumber (Channel 4), Law & Order: UK (ITV), and series regular roles in Casualty (BBC) and Doctor Who (BBC). As a Producer, Andoh is currently working on an adaptation of Island Queen with Julie Anne Robinson at Longboat Pictures.

Daniel Demerin
Neil Mitchell

Daniel Demerin is a voice actor, writer, artist, musician, and developer. Previously trained as an animator at the Ringling College of Art and Design, Daniel first entered the voice-acting world through pure happenstance when meeting Kaitlin and Travis at Tampa Bay Comic Con in 2015. Over the years, Daniel has worked with Fool & Scholar Productions on several audio dramas, immersing himself in the powerfully-written characters and rich, vivid worlds. When not lending his voice to Fool & Scholar Productions, Daniel goes by the musician name Dean Mischief, in which he’s slated to release his first solo album. Residing in St. Petersburg Florida (for the time being), Daniel is also an avid rock-climber, writer, artist, martial arts practitioner & teacher, and all-around fitness junkie.

Preston Yeung
Colin Mitchell

Preston Yeung is a director, editor, and actor. He has brought stage roles to life such as Ernie in White Sky and Falling Dragon in Santa Cruz, and is serving as co-director and editor on We Served With Pride: Remaster, a documentary focusing on the contributions of Chinese American Veterans in World War II. When not working as a director, editor, and actor, Preston can be found entertaining strangers with his piano, guitar, and singing skills, writing a new screenplay, practicing Wing Chun or rewatching Steins;Gate for the 42nd time. Sinclair Belle
Constable Noah Gordon

Sinclair Belle is a singer and voice actor, hailing from West Yorkshire, England. As the frontman for Funk band Happy Daggers, Sinclair cut his teeth as a live performer on stages across the UK. Performing at Leeds and Reading Festival, British Summertime (in support of Stevie Wonder) and having music featured on BBC 6 Music, Sinclair loves to express himself through his voice. Alongside music, Sinclair’s passion for the written and spoken word stretches beyond an English Literature degree, from the University of Leeds. To that end he has taken advantage of recent opportunities, none more so than being cast by Fool and Scholar Productions.

Heather Mclellan
Taylor Mallory

Heather McLellan is a content strategist and voice actor based in Helsinki, Finland. She finds voice acting an unexpected pleasure and has appeared in a number of audio dramas by Fool & Scholar Productions, bringing memorable characters to life like Hauk the merchant (Liberty: Vigilance), Luca (The White Vault: Artifact), and now as Gwen’s assistant and friend, Taylor. Heather enjoys music and writing science fiction.

David Ault
Roger Alhill

David Ault was first introduced to audio dramas though the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy radio series, which he memorized as a child. Many years later, whilst looking for Time Lord-based audio drama he came across audio groups online and decided to try voice acting. In the fifteen years that have followed he’s played God, the Devil, and just about everything in between. David has degrees in maths and astrophysics and is known as a storyteller, actor, science festival organizer, math, and science tutor, and an astronomy talker for hire. David’s love for ghost stories helped him discover and subsequently become a part of the NoSleep podcast, and in 2013 he won the inaugural Best Actor award at the Audioverse Awards for his role as Byron in The Byron Chronicles. David was also the lead in Colonial Radio Theatre’s presentations of Moonfleet and War of the Worlds. He co-hosts the Sonic Society, a weekly showcase of new audio drama, and can now be found on Audible narrating the works of Idries Shah. He lives in North Yorkshire with his husband, and can still quote the Hitch-hiker’s Guide.

Erika Sanderson
Adelaide Birch

Erika Sanderson trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, UK. She works as an actor, director, and voice actor. A highly versatile character actress, Erika’s stage career spans over 3 decades in which she has created a myriad of roles in a variety of genres from children’s theatre to classical plays and musicals. Since 2015 she has appeared in several audio dramas and is an award-winning voice actor. With a vocal range encompassing different ages, genders, accents and creatures she has become known as “The Woman of a Thousand Voices” for her work on The NoSleep Podcast.

Sue Bowmer
Mary Birch

Approaching retirement after careers in medicine & nursing, Sue and her husband Roger wanted to do something entirely different, and signed up with two agencies: one for acting and the other for modelling. This introduced them to a very different type of work. They’ve been involved in many projects from national T.V. adverts to Taggart, Wire in the Blood, and several appearances on Monarch of the Glen. Within a couple of years, the Bowmers joined Newcastle’s Live Theatre Classes for the Over 50s where they studied acting, writing, radio, and performance with excellent tutors and facilities. In 2007 the funding stopped and the bravest of their troupe set up their own theatre group Live Wires where they have continued their passions of writing (especially short comedy sketches) and performing at residential care homes, village halls, large parties, and even for The Northumberland W.I. Thanks to Newtown Artists Management, they have had many more opportunities to enjoy acting as well.

Marcus Bentley
Reverend John

Marcus Bentley trained at East 15 Acting School. As an actor, he has appeared in the films Mad Dogs and Englishmen, and TV shows including The Bill, London’s Burning and Finney. Marcus is also an accomplished theatre actor whose work includes the lead in the Edinburgh Fringe first winning Dead Fish. Recent works includes the short horror film The Water Boatman. Marcus is best known as The Voice of TVs Big Brother.
